You start a new job; you’ve got a great budget only to find out 75% of that goes on job boards.
Oh, and you get no say in that at all 👍
Yes – there is an argument for every side.
Job boards are a source of candidate acquisition, which is marketing…blah blah blah.
But if a recruiter has more say why the hell are you paying the bill?
We are more subjective to what works and what doesn’t. Fact.
Marketers can create a website that is a more cost-effective source of candidates.
I think job boards should be managed by the sales team.
